Dear Maniacs,

Saturday was our first AWAY A MEET and it was a HOT one. Thank you to all our parent volunteers for making the meet a success. Keep reading for photos and results!

MOST IMPORTANT
BY TONIGHT, SUNDAY 6/23, 11:59 PM DEADLINE to RSVP for this week’s B & A MEETS!!!

• Our second B Meet is this Wednesday AT Mohican. Everyone is eligible to swim, but your swimmer will not swim unless you mark them “available” for the meet.
• If you swam the A Meet on Saturday, you may not swim the same events in the B Meet. The only exception is freestyle. You may swim again if you did not finish in the top 5.

RELAY CARNIVAL!! DEADLINE TO DECLARE IS FRIDAY 6/28!

• The Relay Carnival is an annual meet where coaches select which swimmers will compete. This year, the meet will be held on July 7 at Seven Locks.
• Declare your availability no later than Friday! Coach Elizabeth will notify selected swimmers the week of the meet.

MORNING PRACTICES RUN ALL WEEK

• ON WEDNESDAY, MORNING PRACTICE ONLY (Swim Meet in the afternoon)
• Swimmers encouraged to practice every day. The schedule is meant to provide maximum flexibility.

MONDAY 6/24: List of B-Meet swimmers emailed to the team

TUESDAY 6/25: Pep Rally, 5-5:30pm

• Theme: Cowboys and Cowgirls!

WEDNESDAY 6/26: B-MEET @ Mohican

• Everyone EXCEPT 8&U arrive by 5:15 pm for warm-ups
• 8&U arrive at 5:40 pm
• Theme: Cowboys and Cowgirls!
• Meet details coming this week: How to volunteer, timing, and meet program will arrive in your inbox before the meet. Mohican has 8 swim lanes, so we will need extra timers!

THURSDAY 6/27: A Meet entries emailed

FRIDAY 6/28: 8:45 am Donuts & Weekly Friday Awards!

SATURDAY 6/29: 8am AWAY A-Meet @ OLD GEORGETOWN

It is very important to attend meets if you sign up to volunteer. No-shows make more work for everyone. Please email us if you signed-up but can no longer volunteer.

DONUTS & WEEKLY AWARDS ON FRIDAY AT 8:45 AM

Donuts and awards are a fun and delicious Merrimack tradition during Friday morning practice! Coaches hand out weekly awards to swimmers who show great sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork. Then EVERYONE gets donuts. Here are last week’s Award Winners–Go maniacs!
