Awesome swimming in our A and B meets this week! Thank you to our wonderful coaches and parent volunteers! Keep reading for important information about this busy week.

MOST IMPORTANT

BY TONIGHT, SUNDAY 6/30/24!

• 11:59 PM DEADLINE to RSVP for this week’s B & A MEETS!!!
  • Our third B Meet is this Wednesday at HOME vs Palisades. Everyone is eligible to swim, but your swimmer will not swim unless you mark them “available” for the meet.
  • If you swam the A Meet on Saturday, you may not swim the same events in the B Meet. The only exception is freestyle. You may swim again if you did not finish in the top 5.
  • Our last HOME A meet is Saturday, 7/6, vs our neighbors Bannockburn. We will have a special tribute to our graduating seniors - Thomas Lofgren and Nadia Thomas!

THURSDAY, 4TH OF JULY, SPECIAL MORNING ONLY PRACTICES:

10 and under: 8 am - 8:45 am

11 and older : 8:45 am -9:45 am

MONDAY 7/1: List of B-Meet swimmers emailed to the team.

TUESDAY 7/2: Pep Rally

• Theme: 4th of July!
• Time: 5 - 5:30pm

WEDNESDAY 7/3: B-MEET vs. Palisades (HOME MEET)

• Morning only practices
• Theme: 4th of July
• Schedule: Swimmers 11 and up, arrive by 4:50 p.m. Swimmers 10 and under arrive at 5:40
• Meet details coming this week: Make sure to volunteer! We still need a Clerk of Course, Timer, Ribbons, and help cleaning up.

THURSDAY 7/4: MORNING PRACTICE ONLY. No minis practice.  A-Meet entries emailed.

FRIDAY 7/5: 8:45 am Donuts & Weekly Friday Awards!

SATURDAY 7/6: 8am HOME A-Meet vs. Bannockburn

• Theme: 4th of July
• Senior Day! - We invite the whole swim team to meet at the pool after the swim meet to celebrate THOMAS AND NADIA!  We will play in the pool together and enjoy a celebratory lunch. More details to come!

SUNDAY 7/7: 8 am Relay Carnival at Seven Locks Pool

• Theme: 4th of July
• Invitation Only: Coach Elizabeth has reached out to those swimming. Go Maniacs!

DID YOU VOLUNTEER?

We still have a lot of slots that need to be filled for Wednesday’s B meet. Every family is asked to volunteer at least twice in B meets. We appreciate all our parent volunteers!

DONUTS & WEEKLY AWARDS ON FRIDAY AT 8:45 AM

Donuts and awards are a fun and delicious Merrimack tradition during Friday morning practice! Coaches hand out weekly awards to swimmers who show great sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork. Then EVERYONE gets donuts. Here are last week’s Award Winners–Go maniacs!
