Our last B meet is this Wednesday, July 10th at 5:30! Please note the earlier start time!!

MEET DETAILS

• 7/10 B-MEET: Merrimack @ Old Georgetown Club, 5:30pm start time

• THEME: Neon/80s!

• MEET ENTRIES: Attached.
  • Please review and email us ASAP (by noon Tuesday) if your swimmer can no longer make it: [email protected].
  • FINAL details and meet program to come (Tues Night or Wed. afternoon)

• VOLUNTEERS: We still need more timers, clean up crew and clerk of course! Please SIGN UP! We appreciate all our parent volunteers!

IMPORTANT DETAILS

• DIRECTIONS AND PARKING:
  • Old Georgetown Club 9600 Fernwood Rd, Bethesda, MD 20817, main number (301) 469-9772.
  • They will save a portion of the parking lot for Merrimack; however, the lot is small. Some people will have to park on Fernwood Rd. There will be cones set up to prevent parking too close to the pool entrance. A map of the pool layout is attached.
  • The left side of the pool deck past the spectators’ section behind the diving boards is for Merrimack.

• SCHEDULE: MEET STARTS AT 5:30!
  • 4:50 - Merrimack arrives
  • 5:00 - 5:20 pm - Merrimack warm ups for 9 and up only
  • 5:05 pm - Stroke and turn meeting at the diving board
  • 5:10 pm - Timer meeting near the back of pool by shed building
  • 5:30 pm - Meet begins

• FOOD AND REMINDERS:
  • Concessions, including sandwiches and salads, provided by Praline Bakery will be sold at our snack bar near the front entrance of the pool.  Menu attached.  
  • A Clayboys truck will likely make at least one appearance at the meet. They often stay for much of the meet.
