Congratulations to all of our relay carnival swimmers today! It’s hard to believe we are already in the home stretch of our season!! It’s been an amazing summer filled with cheering and great swimming–let’s finish strong!

HEADLINES

  • DIVISIONALS 7/19: This nail-biter of a meet brings all SIX TEAMS in our Division (F) to one pool. Each team brings two top swimmers per event. That could be your kid but you must RSVP TONIGHT. Details below.
  • SENIOR SEND-OFF: Saturday, July 12th is Senior tributes! Wishing our seniors all the best in the future.

  • CONGRATULATIONS to Leah Fletcher who qualified for MCSL Coaches Long Course Meet on Tuesday, July 8. She will be competing in the 13-14 Girls 100 Meter Fly in a 50 meter pool. Rockville Swim Center, 355 Martins Lane, Rockville, MD. Show your Merrimack spirit and come out to cheer her on!
  • DEADLINE to order the 2025 Division F T-Shirt! The 2025 MCSL Division F T-Shirt online store is LIVE, closing Wednesday, July 9th at 5pm. The shirts will be delivered to the team at Divisionals and we will distribute them after the meet. The whole team is welcome to order Division F T-shirts!

  • Morning and afternoon practice
  • Dive Meet at 5pm
    • Swim team practice will continue on normal schedule
    • Dive Well and Seating area near dive well will be reserved for the dive meet
    • Make sure to cheer for our Merrimack divers!

TUESDAY 7/8:

  • PEP RALLY 6:05 PM
    • Theme: Wild West - wear your cowboy hats, bandanas and Yeehaw!

WEDNESDAY 7/9: LAST HOME B-MEET vs Old Georgetown Swim Club

  • We still need TIMERS!!
  • Jolyn pop-up at our meet!

FRIDAY 7/11: LAST Donuts & Weekly Friday Awards at 8:45 am. ALL WELCOME!

SATURDAY 7/12: LAST HOME A-MEET vs Damascus

  • Theme: Wild West
  • Senior Tribute immediately after the meet! Please join us after the meet to give out seniors a strong send off!!

MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR THE END OF SEASON EVENTS

  • 7/16 WEDNESDAY Fun Meet - Can you laugh while swimming? Find out at this silly and fun end-of-season tradition. Please let us know if you’re coming so we can arrange events. 12 and up swimmers are encouraged to sign up to time the minis at their first "meet!" Please click "Jobs" and sign up as the parent. OPEN SWIM to immediately follow! Stay for the fun!!
  • 7/19 SATURDAY Team Banquet - Celebrate the season and enjoy the famous paper plate awards for all swimmers who attend. Due to size limitations, the banquet is only open to team members and we cannot accommodate Mini Maniac families. (Though if your Mini has an older sibling on the team, your Mini is absolutely welcome to attend.)
    • RSVP here for all family members attending. If you have a family member attending who isn’t registered in Swimtopia, please add them as a guest and include a comment with their name/age.
