Congratulations Divisional Qualifiers!

Divisionals will be held on July 19th at Kentlands, 485 Tschiffely Square Rd. Gaithersburg, MD 20878. More details later this week.

Please see the attached list of meet entries by athlete name. Because MCSL requires proof of time from an official A meet, NO B-meet or Time Trial times may be used to qualify for Divisionals.

Please email us immediately if your swimmer cannot participate. For this meet, entries are submitted on Monday.

Coach Elizabeth would like Divisionals swimmers who do not practice with a club team to attend practice daily (July 14-18). Club swimmers should discuss their schedule with Elizabeth asap.

This week's practice schedule is:

Normal practice schedule through Wednesday morning.

All Thursday and Friday practices this week are for Divisionals and All-Star swimmers ONLY.

Thursday July 17

• 7:45 am -8:45 am (all ages) or
• 4:00 pm - 4:45 pm: 10 and under
• 4:45-5:30 pm: 11 and older

Friday July 18

• No morning session
• 4:00 pm - 4:45 pm: 10 and under
• 4:45-5:30 pm: 11 and older

Divisionals Swimmer Potluck Dinner on Thursday, July 17th at 5:45pm at Bannockburn Clubhouse, 6314 Bannockburn Drive

• Swimmers and their Immediate family only invited
• This is a not-to-be-missed Merrimack tradition!
• Please bring the following items based on swimmers’ last name:
  • A-N Main Dish, O-Z Salad and dessert OR side dish and dessert.
• Lemonade and water provided. Bring your own beer, wine, and soft drinks.
• After dinner, coaches will lead swimmers in learning this year’s Divisionals dance to be performed at the break during the Divisionals meet.

Swimmer Preparation: Stay hydrated, get solid sleep each night and be careful. Please do your best to avoid injuries this week.

Divisional Theme: Your finest PROM attire. (Limos are not allowed at the Kentlands due to parking limitations :)
