We did it! Congratulations to all of our first time swimmers, graduating swimmers and every swimmer in between. Our regular season meets are wrapped up…but there is still fun to be had by all.

THE WEEK AHEAD

PRACTICES: START TIME CHANGES IN BLUE!

Morning Practice: Monday through Wednesday. (Last morning practice for the regular season is Wednesday morning)

• 8u: 7:45-8:30 am
• 9-11: 7:45-8:45 am
• 12 and older: 8:45-10am

Evening Practices: Monday and Tuesday only (Last afternoon practice for the regular season is Tuesday afternoon)

• 12 and older: 4:30-5:30 pm
• 8u: 5:30-6:15 pm
• 9-11: 6:15-7 pm

MONDAY 7/14: BANQUET RSVP DEADLINE

• RSVP here for all swimmers and family members attending.
• If you have a family member attending who isn’t registered in Swimtopia, enter your family member as a guest and include their name and age in the comments.
• RSVP’s are important so our coaches can make personalized paper plate awards. They are a fun Merrimack tradition but we need to know your swimmer is attending to receive one!

WEDNESDAY 7/16:

SWIMSUIT AND MERRIMACK MERCH SWAP!

• Have an old swimsuit that still has life left? Have Merrimack shirts and other merch that you’ve outgrown? Please bring it to our Merrimack swimsuit and merch swap during the fun meet! We’ll have bins set out and will donate what is left over after. Thanks to the amazing Katie Peters for organizing!

4:40 pm MINI MEET: Come cheer on our mini maniacs as they make their debut in the water.

• Our 12 and ups who signed up to be a timers, please arrive by 4:30!
• We still need a few more timers! Any 12 and older swimmer who wants to time can sign up here. Please click “Jobs” and sign up as the parent.

5:30pm: FUN MEET:

• TEAM PHOTO scheduled for 5:30!
  • Wear your Merrimack suit or your favorite Merrimack gear!
  • We would love to have all of our swimmers!
• The Fun Meet activities starts at 6pm and is open to all swim team age groups, 8 & under through 15-18.
• Your coaches have designed a fantastic schedule of wacky races designed for each age group.
• Please let us know if you will be attending! RSVP
• Macks will be serving TACOS!

SATURDAY 7/19:

• Divisionals - Invitation Only

  • Congratulations to all of our Divisionals swimmers!
• Swim Team Banquet!

• Location: Maggiano’s Little Italy Restaurant in Chevy Chase, 5333 Wisconsin Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20015
  • Time: 5 pm
  • We hope the whole swim team can make it!

COACHES FUND:

• Whether you’re able to attend the banquet or not, kindly DONATE to the coaches fund. Crowdfunding goes to the remarkable Coach Elizabeth and her dedicated coaching crew.
