Fun Meet Tomorrow

July 15th

Hello Merrimack,

The Fun Meet is tomorrow! No program, no warm ups, no parent volunteers. This one is just for the giggles. Once the official “events” have concluded, the pool will be open for swim and dive team families to swim and enjoy!

ROUGH SCHEDULE:

  • Arrival time: 5:15 pm
  • Team Photo: 5:30
    • Wear your Merrimack suit and a big smile!
    • Photo will be taken in the baby pool area in front of our Merrimack sign
    • We would love to have all swimmers!
  • 8 and Under Events: 6:00 pm
    • Doggy paddle
    • Corkscrew
  • Popsicles: 6:15 pm
  • 9-10 Events: 6:30 pm
    • Corkscrew
    • Rubber duck backstroke race
    • T-shirt relay race
  • 11-12 and 13-14 Events: 6:50 pm
    • 50 IM
    • Double up relay
    • T-shirt relay race
  • 15-18 Events: 7:10 pm
    • Underwater Challenge
    • Lost and Found Relay
    • Belly Flop Challenge
    • Raft Race with Coaches
  • Cha Cha Slide and Close Out: 7:30 pm
  • Open Swim for Swim and Dive Team until 9:00 pm

FOOD:

  • Mack’s Cafe will be open for dinner. Bring a water bottle!

SWIM PRACTICES

Last morning practice for the regular season is tomorrow (Wednesday) morning!

  • 8u: 7:45-8:30 am
  • 9-11: 7:45-8:45 am
  • 12 and older: 8:45-10am

SWIMSUIT AND MERRIMACK MERCH SWAP DURING FUN MEET!

  • Have an old swimsuit that still has life left? Have Merrimack shirts and other merch that you’ve outgrown? Please bring it to our Merrimack swimsuit and merch swap during the fun meet on Wednesday! We’ll have bins set out and will donate what is left over after. Thanks to the amazing Katie Peters for organizing!

COACHES FUND:
