We can’t wait for our first away B-Meet of the season!

MEET DETAILS

• 6/24 B-MEET:Merrimack @ Mohican (7117 MacArthur Blvd., Bethesda,MD)

• THEME: Minions! (You've got your yellow caps! Get creative with denim, overalls, goggles, etc)

• MEET ENTRIES: Attached.
  • Please review and email us ASAP (by noon Tuesday) if your swimmer can no longer make it: [email protected]. 
  • We cannot add swimmers to the meet who are not already entered.
  • FINAL details and meet program to come (Tuesday Night or Wednesday afternoon)

• VOLUNTEERS: Mohican is able to run 8 lanes of swimmers! This is great for making the meet move quickly, but it means we need more timers! We also need a runner and assistant clerk of course. All of these jobs are easy to learn, and we’ll show you the ropes. SIGN UP! You make meets happen!

IMPORTANT DETAILS

• DIRECTIONS AND PARKING:
  • GPS address is 7117 MacArthur Blvd, Bethesda MD
  • The parking lot at the pool will be reserved for our team, although it is limited. You may also park across the street on the grass and in a lot just south of the pool off MacArthur. A police officer will be on hand to help people cross the street/direct traffic.

• SCHEDULE:
  • Arrival:
  • 5pm for all 9 and over swimmers
  • 5:30pm for 8U swimmers
  • Warm-ups Start: 5:25pm - 5:45pm (Warm ups for 9 & up only)
  • Volunteer Check-in: 5:00pm-5:20pm
  • Stroke & Turn briefing: 5:30pm
  • Timer briefing: 5:40pm
  • Meet start 6:00pm

• FOOD:
  • Catalyst Hot Dogs. They accept all major credit cards.
  • Mohican's concession stand will also be open for snacks and beverages.
• REMINDERS:
  • Parents need to keep their swimmers in the pool deck area. Please don’t make the coaches or the clerk of course go searching for your child when it’s time to swim.
