Swim Team Week Ahead: 7/5/26
Dear Merrimack,
It’s hard to believe we are already in the home stretch of our season!! We had another exciting win at our A meet on Saturday! It’s been an amazing summer filled with cheering and great swimming–let’s finish strong!
HEADLINES
- DIVISIONALS 7/18: This nail-biter of a meet brings all SIX TEAMS in our Division (F) to one pool. Each team brings two top swimmers per event. That could be your kid but you must RSVP–the deadline to RSVP is Thursday at 11:59PM. Please note that only times from A meets count toward eligibility for Divisionals.

WEDNESDAY 7/8: LAST B-MEET AWAY @ Old Georgetown Swim Club
- We still need lots of volunteers!! If your child is swimming, please sign up to help!
FRIDAY 7/10: LAST8:45 am Donuts & Weekly Friday Awards. ALL WELCOME!
- All are welcome to stick around and DECORATE CAR WINDOWS ahead of our last A Meet! Car decorating will take place immediately after awards. Older swimmers will start practice shortly past 9am.
SATURDAY 7/11: LAST A-MEET AWAY @ Seven Locks

MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR THE END OF SEASON EVENTS
- 7/15 WEDNESDAY Fun Meet - Can you laugh while swimming? Find out at this silly and fun end-of-season tradition. Please let us know if you’re coming so we can arrange events. 12 and up swimmers are encouraged to sign up to time the minis at their first "meet!" Please click "Jobs" and sign up as the parent. OPEN SWIM immediately follow! Stay for the fun!!
- TEAM PHOTO! Come out and cheer on our Minis as they swim their first laps, and then everyone is encouraged to stay for a team photo by the baby pool area. Wear your Merrimack gear! Stay tuned for more details and a timeline!
- 7/19 SUNDAY Swim Team Banquet - Celebrate the season and enjoy the famous paper plate awards for all swimmers who attend. Due to size limitations, the banquet is only open to team members and we cannot accommodate Mini Maniac families. (Though if your Mini has an older sibling on the team, your Mini is absolutely welcome to attend.)
- RSVP here for all family members attending. If you have a family member attending who isn’t registered in Swimtopia, please add them as a guest and include a comment with their name/age.
