• VOLUNTEERS: VOLUNTEERS!! We still need SEVERAL volunteers. Job descriptions are here. Parents are expected to volunteer for at least 2 B meets per year. Please don’t make us track you down on the Mohican Pool deck on Wednesday! Click here to volunteer for:

IMPORTANT DETAILS

• DIRECTIONS AND PARKING:
  • Old Georgetown Club 9600 Fernwood Rd, Bethesda, MD 20817, main number (301) 469-9772.
  • They will save a portion of the parking lot for your team; however, the lot is small. Some people will have to park on Fernwood Rd. There will be cones set up to prevent parking too close to the pool entrance. A map of the pool layout is attached.
  • The left side of the pool deck past the spectators’ section behind the diving boards is for Merrimack.

• SCHEDULE: MEET STARTS AT 5:30! (NOTE EARLIER START TIME!)
  • 4:50pm - Merrimack arrives (8U swimmers can arrive at 5:15pm)
  • 5:00 - 5:20 pm - Merrimack warm ups for 9 and up only!
  • 5:05 pm - Stroke and turn meeting at the diving board
  • 5:10 pm - Timer meeting near the back of pool by shed building
  • 5:30 pm - Meet begins

• FOOD AND REMINDERS:

• Concessions, including sandwiches and salads, provided by Vignola Gourmet, will be sold at our snack bar near the front entrance of the pool. A menu is attached.
• Kona Ice is scheduled to arrive starting at 4pm.

• INCLEMENT WEATHER:
  • Hopefully we will have great weather on Wednesday but, just in case, we follow our pool policy and county protocols requiring the pool to be cleared and everyone off deck and under cover when thunder is heard or lightning is spotted. We can re-enter the deck and pool 30 minutes after the last thunder/ lightning.
